133.50.4000-133.134 Series large bearing

The 133 and 134 series are three-row roller slewing bearings featuring an internal gear on the inner ring. These series are engineered for the most demanding heavy-duty applications where maximum load capacity, exceptional rigidity, and reliable performance are essential. The internal gear configuration provides added protection for the gear teeth and enables a compact machine design.

Typical Applications:

Large tower cranes and mobile cranes

Heavy-duty excavators and mining equipment

Wind turbine yaw and pitch systems

Large radar and antenna positioning systems

Heavy-duty industrial turntables

Marine cranes and offshore equipment

High load-carrying capacity
Resistance to high and low temperatures
Noise-free operation
Strictly controlled tolerances and appropriate internal clearance
Long service life and low maintenance requirements
Prevention of unexpected downtime (avoiding bearing fracture, seizure, and safety incidents caused by such failures, with anti-tilting capability)

Characteristics

✦ Three-row cylindrical roller configuration – Two axial roller rows (upper and lower) positioned on either side of a radial roller row, forming a compact triangular load path.

✦ Internal gear on inner ring – Gear teeth are integrally hobbed on the inner ring bore, featuring a 20° pressure angle spur profile with induction-hardened tooth flanks.

✦ Segmented outer ring – The outer ring is manufactured in two halves (upper and lower) that are bolted together after roller assembly, simplifying installation in confined spaces.

✦ Distinct raceway geometry – Each roller row has its own raceway curvature and contact angle – axial rows at 45° and radial row at 0° – optimizing load distribution.

✦ Induction-hardened raceways – All raceways hardened to 58–62 HRC with a case depth of 4–5 mm, while gear teeth maintain a separate hardness of 50–55 HRC.

✦ Ring material specification – Manufactured from 42CrMo4V steel with improved purity and homogeneity, specifically selected for high-temperature applications.

Features

✦ Handles extreme loads with ease – Dedicated axial and radial roller rows allow the bearing to support massive loads from all directions without performance degradation.

✦ Maintains alignment under heavy loads – The robust cylindrical roller design minimizes deflection, ensuring accurate shaft positioning even under heavy loads.

✦ Reduces maintenance frequency – Deep-hardened raceways with thick case depth resist wear, extending the interval between inspections.

✦ Smooth rotation under intermittent loads – The optimized cage design prevents roller skewing during load changes, ensuring consistent motion.

✦ Simplifies heavy machinery design – The integrated load paths reduce the need for additional support structures, simplifying the machine design.
