CRB / CRBC Series Crossed Roller Bearings (Standard & Thin-Section Types)
The CRB and CRBC series are crossed roller bearing designs featuring a split outer ring and a solid inner ring, offering a practical balance between ease of assembly and structural rigidity. These series are specifically engineered for applications requiring high precision, compact dimensions, and straightforward installation, with the CRBC series distinguished by its thin-wall cross-section for space-constrained applications.

Both CRB and CRBC series bearings utilize cylindrical rollers arranged in a crossed configuration, with adjacent rollers oriented at 90° angles to each other within precision-ground V-shaped raceways. This arrangement provides line contact between the rollers and raceways, enabling the bearing to simultaneously support radial loads, axial loads in both directions, and tilting moments within a single, compact unit.
The split outer ring design simplifies assembly and disassembly, allowing the bearing to be installed without the need for complex pressing or heating procedures. The solid inner ring provides structural integrity and maintains high precision for rotation applications. The bearings are typically equipped with spacer retainers between rollers to prevent friction and ensure smooth, consistent rotation.
The CRBC series features a reduced cross-section compared to the standard CRB series, making it particularly suitable for applications where axial and radial space is limited and weight reduction is a priority.
