The ZR1 series is a proven range of single-row crossed roller slewing bearings with integrated internal gearing, designed for machinery that requires high rotational accuracy, substantial load capacity, and a compact structural footprint. These bearings combine a precision internal gear tooth profile within the inner ring, enabling seamless direct drive integration without the need for additional transmission components.
Application Fields:
Rotary indexing tables and turntables for machining and assembly
Material handling and crane slewing mechanisms
Aerial work platforms and access equipment
Medical diagnostic devices and precision inspection machinery
Radar and communication antenna positioning systems

At the heart of the ZR1 series is the single-row crossed roller configuration. Cylindrical rollers are arranged alternately at right angles to one another between the inner and outer rings, with each roller oriented perpendicular to its neighbor. This crossed layout allows a single raceway to effectively manage axial loads, radial loads, and tilting moments simultaneously. The line-contact between rollers and raceways provides exceptional structural rigidity, significantly outperforming ball-based designs under combined loading conditions.
The internal gear teeth are machined directly into the bore of the inner ring, with hobbing and induction hardening processes applied to ensure consistent tooth profile accuracy and long-term wear resistance. The rings are forged from high-grade alloy steel and machined to a square cross-section, offering a stiff and stable foundation for demanding operations.
