EBL 20.30 Series flange bearing

EBL 20.30 Series flange bearing

EBL 20.30 Series flange bearing

The EBL series is a compact slewing bearing solution combining an external gear on the outer ring with an integrated inner flange on the inner ring. This design is specifically developed for applications requiring a low-profile mounting arrangement without sacrificing the load-handling efficiency of four-point contact ball technology.

Application Areas

Space-constrained crane turntables and winch drives

Aerial work platforms with height limitations

Compact solar tracking systems

Light to medium-duty industrial turntables

Packaging and handling equipment

Medical equipment requiring low-profile rotary stage

The EBL series bearing comprises an inner ring with an integral radial flange, an outer ring with external gear teeth, and a single row of steel balls with nylon spacers arranged between precision-ground raceways. The four-point contact ball geometry enables the bearing to simultaneously support axial loads in both directions, radial loads, and tilting moments within a single, compact row of rolling elements.

What distinguishes the EBL series is its flange geometry: the inner flange is designed with a reduced axial height while maintaining sufficient structural stiffness for most light to medium-duty applications. This low-profile flange design makes the EBL series particularly suitable for applications where vertical space is at a premium. The external gear teeth are cut directly on the outer ring circumference, allowing direct pinion engagement with minimal transmission losses. Both the flange and the outer ring are provided with mounting holes for quick and secure bolted installation.
