The external gear with inner flange slewing bearing is a versatile rotational component designed for applications where compact mounting, straightforward installation, and efficient drive integration are essential. This configuration combines an external gear on the outer ring with an integral inner flange on the inner ring, offering a practical solution for equipment requiring a stable, low-profile mounting interface alongside direct pinion drive capability.

Application Areas:

Compact crane turntables and lifting equipment

Aerial work platforms and access equipment

Solar tracking systems with space constraints

Light to medium-duty industrial turntables

Packaging and handling machinery

This bearing series comprises an inner ring with an integral flange, an outer ring with external gear teeth, and a single row of steel balls arranged between precision-ground raceways. The four-point contact ball geometry enables the bearing to support axial loads in both directions, radial loads, and tilting moments simultaneously within a single, compact row of rolling elements.

The inner flange functions as both a mounting surface and a structural component, providing a broad, stable interface for bolted attachment to the machine structure. The flange is machined to tight tolerances to ensure accurate alignment during installation. The outer ring features external gear teeth cut directly onto its circumference, enabling direct pinion engagement and eliminating the need for separate gear rings. Both the flange and the outer ring are drilled with mounting holes to facilitate secure bolted installation.
