CRBF Series Crossed Roller Bearings (Flat, High-Stiffness Type)
The CRBF series is a flat, high-stiffness crossed roller bearing featuring an ultra-compact design with minimal cross-sectional height and a one-piece inner and outer ring construction. Cylindrical rollers are arranged alternately at 90° in a single raceway, enabling the bearing to simultaneously support radial, axial, and tilting moment loads with exceptional rotational accuracy and rigidity.

CRBF series bearings utilize cylindrical rollers arranged in a crossed configuration, with adjacent rollers oriented at 90° angles to each other within precision-ground raceways. This arrangement provides line contact between the rollers and raceways, enabling the bearing to simultaneously support radial loads, axial loads in both directions, and tilting moments within a single, compact unit.
The defining characteristic of the CRBF series is its extremely thin cross-section, which is among the slimmest available in crossed roller bearings. This ultra-slim profile allows for significant reduction in overall equipment size and weight while maintaining adequate load capacity and rigidity. Both rings are solid and feature mounting holes, allowing for direct bolted attachment to the machine structure without requiring additional housings or adaptor plates. The bearings are typically supplied with spacer retainers between rollers to ensure smooth, consistent rotation and prevent roller-to-roller contact.
