CRBT Series Crossed Roller Bearings (Ultra-Slim, Segmented Type)
The CRBT series is an ultra-slim crossed roller bearing featuring a segmented outer ring (two semi-rings fastened together) and an integrated inner ring, enabling a minimal cross-sectional height for extreme space savings. Cylindrical rollers are arranged alternately at 90° in a single raceway, allowing the bearing to support radial, axial, and moment loads simultaneously with high rigidity and precision.

CRBT series bearings utilize cylindrical rollers arranged in a crossed configuration, with adjacent rollers oriented at 90° angles to each other within precision-ground raceways. This arrangement provides line contact between the rollers and raceways, enabling the bearing to simultaneously support radial loads, axial loads in both directions, and tilting moments within a single, compact unit.
The defining characteristic of the CRBT series is its extremely thin cross-section, which is optimized to be among the slimmest available in crossed roller bearings. This ultra-slim profile makes the series particularly suitable for applications where axial and radial space is severely limited. Both rings are solid and feature mounting holes, allowing for direct bolted attachment to the machine structure without requiring additional housings or adaptor plates. The bearings are typically supplied with spacer retainers between rollers to ensure smooth, consistent rotation and prevent roller-to-roller contact.
