CRBS Series Crossed Roller Bearings (Ultra-Thin, Sealed Type)

The CRBS series is a crossed roller bearing design featuring solid inner and outer rings with a thin-wall cross-section, offering a compact and highly rigid solution for applications where space efficiency and precision are critical. This series is distinguished by its ultra-slim profile, making it one of the most space-efficient crossed roller bearing options available.

Typical Applications

CRBS series bearings employ cylindrical rollers arranged in a crossed configuration, with adjacent rollers oriented at 90° angles to each other within precision-ground raceways. This arrangement provides line contact between the rollers and raceways, enabling the bearing to simultaneously support radial loadsaxial loads in both directions, and tilting moments within a single, compact unit.

The defining characteristic of the CRBS series is its ultra-thin cross-section. The rings are designed to be as slim as possible while maintaining adequate load capacity and rigidity, making these bearings ideal for applications with severe space constraints. Both rings are solid and feature mounting holes, allowing for direct bolted attachment to the machine structure without requiring additional housings or adaptor plates. The bearings are typically supplied with spacer retainers between rollers to ensure smooth, consistent rotation and prevent roller-to-roller contact.
