Standard Series KD320 Slewing rings

The KD320 series is a high-stability external gear double-row ball slewing bearing, specially developed for medium-heavy duty rotary equipment that requires high rigidity, strong load adaptability and reliable integrated transmission performance. Breaking through the load limitation of single-row bearing structures, this series adopts a dual steel ball layered arrangement and integral outer gear design. With optimized raceway parameters and precise mechanical calibration, it delivers excellent structural stability and durable rotary performance, suitable for long-cycle and high-frequency operating industrial and engineering machinery.

Typical Applications:

Large cranes and excavators

Tower cranes and mobile cranes

Wind turbine yaw and pitch systems

Large solar tracking arrays

Radar and antenna positioning systems

Heavy-duty industrial turntables

Equipped with a professional double-row ball structural layout, the KD320 series achieves comprehensive upgrade in load-bearing performance and structural rigidity. Two sets of independently arranged precision rolling elements cooperate with high-hardness polished raceways to form a stable dual-load system. This unique structure can evenly bear and decompose composite mechanical loads including axial tension and compression, radial force and large overturning moments. It effectively avoids local stress concentration and structural deformation during equipment operation, greatly improving the bearing’s impact resistance and fatigue resistance, and maintaining accurate and smooth rotary operation under complex variable load working conditions.

The integrated external gear design is a core functional advantage of the KD320 series. The outer-ring involute gears are precisely machined and thermally treated, featuring uniform tooth profile, high meshing precision and low backlash. The external gear layout facilitates direct meshing with drive pinions, realizing efficient and stable torque transmission. Compared with other transmission structures, the integrated gear design simplifies the overall mechanical structure, reduces assembly difficulty, and lowers daily maintenance costs, providing efficient and reliable power support for various rotary mechanical systems.

This series of slewing bearings is made of high-quality low-alloy structural steel with excellent mechanical toughness and wear resistance. The key working areas such as double-row raceways and gear teeth are processed by high-frequency induction hardening technology, with stable surface hardness and strong anti-abrasion ability, which can effectively resist long-term cyclic friction and impact damage. Matched with high-performance double-sided rubber sealing components, the bearing forms a tight internal protection cavity, which can effectively isolate external dust, moisture and industrial impurities, lock internal lubricating grease, and ensure long-term stable and low-friction operation in various harsh working environments.
