✦ Roller arrangement – Cylindrical rollers are positioned with their axes alternating at 90° in a single raceway, enabling each roller to maintain line contact with both raceways simultaneously.
✦ Internal gear teeth – The inner ring bore features integrally cut gear teeth with a 14.5° pressure angle, reducing sliding friction during meshing.
✦ Split outer ring – The outer ring is manufactured in two halves, joined by dowel pins and cap screws, allowing easy assembly around existing shafts.
✦ Raceway finish – Raceways are superfinished to 0.2 µm Ra, minimizing rolling resistance and heat generation at high speeds.
✦ Carburizing treatment – Rings undergo case-carburizing to a depth of 1.5–2.0 mm, creating a tough core with a wear-resistant surface of 60–64 HRC.
✦ Labyrinth seal design – The rings feature interlocking labyrinth channels that provide non-contact sealing, eliminating wear while excluding coarse contaminants.
