9E-2830-187S-0790-9E Series External Gear

This double row ball slewing bearing with external gear consists of two rows of steel balls for eight-point contact. It withstands composite axial, radial forces and tilting moments. Outer ring external gear enables direct power transmission. Thanks to compact construction and outstanding carrying performance, it serves medium-heavy rotating machinery including lifting equipment and engineering turntables. Standard specifications in stock; OEM customization is supported.

Design and Construction:

Eight-point contact between balls and raceways for enhanced stability

90° load angles on both upper and lower raceways, optimized for axial load and tilting moment capacity

External gear teeth located on the outer ring for efficient power transmission

Through-hardened raceways with specialized heat treatment for extended service life

Integrated sealing systems to protect rolling elements from contaminants and retain lubrication

High load-carrying capacity
Resistance to high and low temperatures
Noise-free operation
Strictly controlled tolerances and appropriate internal clearance
Long service life and low maintenance requirements
Prevention of unexpected downtime (avoiding bearing fracture, seizure, and safety incidents caused by such failures, with anti-tilting capability)

Characteristics

✦ Dual-row ball arrangement – Two rows of balls positioned in a back-to-back configuration to maximize load distribution.

✦ External gear on outer ring – Gear teeth precision-machined on the outer circumference for pinion drive integration.

✦ Compact cross-section – Optimized radial and axial dimensions for space-constrained installations, with minimal height-to-diameter ratio.

✦ Through-hardened raceways – Rolling paths hardened to 50–55 HRC with uniform hardness across the entire raceway surface.

✦ Double-lip sealing system – Each ball row equipped with independent NBR seals on both sides to prevent lubricant leakage and contaminant ingress.

✦ High-strength ring material – Manufactured from 42CrMo4 or 50Mn steel with fine-grain structure for toughness.
